Break up the Brewers? The Milwaukee Brewers (The Official Site of The Milwaukee Brewers Brewers.com: Homepage) decided to go for broke by trading away a bright prospect (Matt LaPorta) for last year's AL Cy Young winner CC (No Periods, Please!) Sabathia.
The Brewers had best expand the clubhouse food spread because Carsten Charles is one full-sized man: 6' 7" and 290 pounds.

I don't know what this title means, but the guy was on target two weeks ago: Is C.C. Sabathia the Interior Crocodile Alligator who drives a chevy movie theater that the Brewers need?
The timing of the trade allows Sabathia to make two starts before the all star break and probably 14 or 15 or even 16 starts. Of course, the starts they really want him to make are in October. With Ben Sheets and CC Sabathia the Brewers have the best one-two punch in the NL.
The move puts pressure on the Cubs and the surprising Cardinals to make a move. It also puts pressure on the Brewers to make the playoffs and get to the World Series. World Series Overview MLB.com: History Last year's Brewers crumbled after a fast start. Hopefully, that experience and a team mix that includes more veterans will make a difference.
Did the value of my Brewers' 20-game package just go up? Well, it includes the right to buy post-season tickets.
And while you're at the Brewers homepage, don't forget to stuff the ballot box for Corey Hart's All-Star bid.
looks like-the rent a player for 1/2 season is worth it.
