ESPN has developed a ranking of the top two-sport schools over the past 5 years using the Sagarin Ratings, the most reliable computer ratings around for college football and basketball.
In what should not be too surprising news, the UW is #5 in the country (and the highest-ranked Big Ten team). I put 'should' in italics because you still occasionally run into somebody who still has the ingrained inferiority complex of Badger fans (actually, I think Wisconsinites generally have 'little man's syndrome' when it comes to outsiders talking bad about the Dairyland).
Anyway, by the end of this school year it's looking like the Badgers might inch up even higher on that list.
