The Monona Grove alternative high school (now rechristened as the Monona Grove Liberal Arts Charter School for the 21st Century) school has been selected to receive a $175,000 grant from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, under its charter school grant program. The grant will be used to develop school curriculum, train staff, and purchase new technology. (I am a member of the board of education for this school.)
