Green Tuesdays: Films & Lectures on Sustainability

Next Tuesday, April 13: Preparing Our Communities for the Future, Now by Peter Park

FREE - MONONA PUBLIC LIBRARY - 6:30 P.M. TO 8:00 P.M.

Learn about planning and creating beautiful and sustainable communities.

Park, who spent eight years as a planner in Milwaukee and successfully worked to demolish the "Highway to Nowhere," is now the Manager of Community Planning and Development for Denver, Colorado. He presented at the inaugural "Bringing Bioneers to Wisconsin" conference last November.

Bryant Moroder of Sustain Dane will share this video from the conference and the Bioneers story. Over 300 local and national sustainability innovators came together in Fitchburg last fall for the "Bringing Bioneers to Wisconsin" conference, melding presentations and conversations in an inspiring and absorbing two-day gathering.

Not only is this a must-see presentation, you'll have the opportunity to submit your ideas for topics and presenters you would like to see at the 2010 Bioneers Conference!
