Dean Avenue Detour APRIL 7

From Monona city staff:

On Wednesday, April 7 Dean Avenue between Midmoor Road and Gordon Avenue will be closed to thru traffic from 7 am to 7 pm to allow the 2010 Street & Utility Improvement contractor to make connections to the water main in Dean Avenue. If the contractor is unable to work on April 7th due to weather conditions the work will occur on Thursday, April 8 from 7 am to 7 pm. A detour map is attached. This same information will also be posted on the City’s website.

    Interesting detour - right through a construction zone: Shore Acres Road from Greenway to Lamboley is completely torn up. Why not make the detour down Midmoor to Nichols back to Monona Drive?
