Monona Park Director Jake Anderson mentioned yet another Monona-related blog last night - The Monona Rag debuted on March 7, 2010. Interesting reading; so far mostly about schools and Monona city council - and everyone's favorite topic, Winnequah Road.
The blogger's name is Janus Dent Masters, but the "About" page doesn't tell the readers anything about the author. I don't know Janus - in fact, I've never met anyone named Janus, the two-headed Roman god of doors and beginnings, although I did invest some money at Janus Funds and did OK.
Anyway, hoo-rah for Monona, blogging-growth capital of the world.

Here's a conspiracy theory. Janus Dent Masters is three references to two heads, or two faces. Janus is the Roman god, Dent is Harvey Dent, the DA from Batman who turned into Two Face, and Masters is a reference to Tiger Woods (the two-faced-no-good-cheating-son-of-a-#%!&) and his return to golf at the Masters.
ReplyDeleteCould it be that Janus Dent Masters is Doug Wood. It lets him theorize and blog with his ultra-conservative ideas (two heads?), and Doug's been a little slow these days at posting responses (busy writing other blogs?). And it's pretty obvious that Janus Dent Masters is an anagram for "jeans tend smart us." I don't know what that means, but it looks like something Doug could type for the quote under is name.
