Friends of the Library Used Book sale and bake sale

Saturday October 17

10 am to 4 pm

Members get in at 9 am. You can join at the door.

Only the books are used! The bakery is fresh!

Sunday October 18

Bag Sale from 1 pm -3 pm

Buy a bag of books for 5 bucks.

The Friends of the Library’s annual used book sale will be held this weekend, Oct. 17-18 in the lower level of the Monona Public Library, 1000 Nichols Road. A Friends only sale will take place Saturday Oct. 17 from 9-10 a.m. Memberships are sold at the door. The sale is open to the general public from 10-4. On Sunday come back for the bag sale from 1-3. Fill up a grocery bag full of books for $5. There will also be a bake sale each day.

If you’d like to contribute books to the sale, just leave them in the Friends Book Shop at the back of the first floor of the library. Donations will be collected through Thursday. If you’d like to volunteer to help or donate baked goods, call Lynda Weinberger at 221-1179.
