Girl, 9, revived at Monona pool and hospitalized

MONONA — A 9-year-old Madison girl was taken to a hospital early Wednesday night after being found without a pulse and unable to breathe at the Monona city pool, the Monona Police Department said.
Police said emergency workers were called to the pool at 1011 Nichols Road just after 5:30 p.m. CPR was performed at the scene, and the girl was revived and taken to a local hospital.
Her name was not released, and police were not able to provide her condition.
