Chicken Keeping Ordinance Delayed to June 22

The Monona Plan Commission will NOT consider the chicken keeping ordinance at its next meeting on June 8, but I am assured by the Chair that the Plan Commission will take up the proposal at its June 22 meeting.

  1. Doug-
I think this thing is DOA.
    Sorry-
I appreciate all of the hard work you have done on this one. In short, I take the libertarian viewpoint on this one and agree with you.

  3. Yeah, it is over. No way to pass it now- but what will happen to all those who have had chickens for some time under the radar?

Too bad for them..... now the law will have to be enforced.

  6. It was over for speeders this morning on Winneq. Our chief was sitting in a lawn chair with a radar gun near a bush I found it pretty darn funny-not sure why.

  7. Up / down vote? I'd sure like to know how our council members vote on this issue instead of it being killed in a back room...
