Green Tuesdays: Films & Lectures on Sustainability

FREE - WINNEQUAH PARK - 6:30pm TO 8:00pm

Next Tuesday, June 9: EnAct—Environmental Action Teams

Learn about the EnAct program and how you can start an EnAct team in your home or work community. Through interactive discussion and sharing of ideas and stories, David Madden will demonstrate the positive environmental impacts of EnAct participation. He will also share how environmental stewardship, done as a group, can help build socially sustainable communities.

Weather permitting, this Green Tuesday will be in Winnequah Park, just west of the creek and lagoon, near the small parking area on the south side of Nichols Road. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket. If the weather does not "permit," we will meet in the Media Room of the Monona Public Library, as usual.

Whole Foods serves treats. Come early for tasty food and drink.

Green Tuesdays: Films & Lectures on Sustainability is the enlightening and entertaining series of lectures, films, and conversations on sustainable living brought to you by The Natural Step Monona and the Monona Public Library.

Green Tuesdays are on the second and fifth Tuesdays of the month. Sessions start at 6:30 and run until 8:00, with engaging and fun conversations often pushing the conclusion a bit past that hour.

Green Tuesdays: Films are supported by the Dane County Environmental Council.
