Must See Movie: Mad City Chickens

Green Tuesdays: Films & Lectures on Sustainability
FREE w MONONA PUBLIC LIBRARY w 6:30 P.M. TO 8:00 P.M.

Next Tuesday, March 10: Mad City Chickens

This feature-length film premiered in April 2008 at the Wisconsin Film Festival in Madison. Mad City Chickens deftly weaves multiple stories and contextual issues on city chickens and their keepers in a non-linear fashion that one rarely sees in a documentary. From leading experts to urban newbies, experience the humor and heart of what’s fast becoming an international backyard chicken movement. Documentary filmmakers Tashai Lovington & Robert Lughai will be on hand for a Q&A after the screening.

We anticipate a large crowd. Please be prepared for close quarters, standing room only for later arrivals, and the possibility that we cannot accommodate everyone. Look for future screenings at Tarazod Films Mad City Chickens (http://www.tarazod.com/filmsmadchicks.html).
