Green Tuesdays is the series of enlightening and entertaining lectures, films, and conversations on sustainable living brought to you by The Natural Step Monona and the Monona Public Library.

Next Tuesday, August 19, 2008 – Escape From Affluenza (DVD)

This film shows how adopting practices of simple living creates independence from the epidemic of rampant consumerism and materialism that ails Americans and the environment. It uses expert commentary, thought-provoking vignettes and humor to show how people can reduce their consumption and simplify their lives. With stories of real people from Seattle to the Netherlands who have altered their lifestyles and re-discovered the joy of living, Escape from Affluenza offers the antidote to debt, stress, time-pressure, and possession-overload. A repeat performance of our most popular Green Tuesday offering to date!

Green Tuesdays will be offered every-other-week starting in September.
