Public Works needs to revisit the role of brush collection. Six weeks ago my neighbor cut down two trees, using heavy machinery, and pushed the debris to the curb to be picked up by the city.
ReplyDeleteThe neighbor does not live at the site and does not have to see the pile of debris each day, but is indifferent to the neighbors plight at this ugly heap of dead limbs. The taxpayers should not have to bear the cost of tree removal and the property owner should pay for the prompt removal of any debris.
Public Works needs a redefinition of the policy of helping residents remove brush cuttings from their property.
Monona residents need protection from the nuisance of such tree debris being 'brushed off' on them.
It's early August and it looks like much to be done on Midmoor. Some curb and gutter isn't poured yet and the driveways haven't been repaired. When will this be done? Mobody lets the residents know anything that is happening.
