ADDENDUM: The no wake ban is back: Slow, no-wake order back on for Yahara Lakes after storms
On July 9, Dane County eased the no wake rules on the Yahara Chain of Lakes.
"· Lake Monona: Effective noon on Thursday, July 10, the Slow, No Wake order is modified to 500 feet with one exception. The Slow, No Wake order is maintained for all of Squaw Bay."
Within hours of that order, Ma Nature walloped the area with another storm (contrary to the expectations in the order of no significant rainfall in the next six days after July 9!).
Update: City cleans up as big storm causes a big mess
UPDATE: Some parts of area receive more than 4 inches in latest storm WSJ
Lake Monona rose to 847.17 this morning and seems likely to rise more as the lat rains work their way through the system.
