Help Youth Sports in Monona

Go here and take the quiz and help the city of Monona get a $2500 grant for your the sports:

Get on your way towardearning a $2,500 Grant

I took the quiz and it requires a little thought and common sense and about 5-10 minutes.

A message from the Monona Parks and Recreation Department:

Hello Parents,

The Monona Parks & Rec Dept could be eligible to win a Youth Sports grant for $2500. The deadline is July 31st, so act fast!

We are going to be starting a Youth Basketball program and NFL Flag Football program in Monona and $2500 would go a long ways to ordering equipment to keep the costs as low as possible to you the parents.

The quiz is pretty easy and takes only a few minutes and helps education coaches and parents about Youth Sports....The more entries we get, the better chance we have to win the grant!

HELP US WIN $2500 FROM LIBERTY MUTUAL!

Liberty Mutual is awarding community grants worth $2500 as part of its Responsible Sports? program championing and celebrating responsibility in youth sports.

Here's how it works:

Every person who completes the online Responsible Coaching or Responsible Sports Parenting course and the 10-question review quiz earns one certificate. The twenty (20) organizations around the country that get the most certificates will earn a $2500 grant.

Since we?ll only be competing against organizations of similar size, we have a great chance to win! Of course, the more people we get to take the course and quiz, the
better our chance of winning the Community Grant.

Let's all work together - for the kids, and for the $2500 grant. Just think of the ways this grant could help us: equipment, uniforms, travel, practice field time - you name it!

  2. From Jake Anderson at Park & Rec:

I haven't heard yet, but I don't think so. We had about 60 registrations with a
day left. There is another application cycle that will start up again, so I'll
be sending out another email and try to start earlier. I also decreased the size
of our league so we'll be in the "small" size league for this next cycle.
    Thanks!~
