On Saturday, April 12 from 1-3pm, at the Monona Public Library, WORT will host a free Meet and Greet, sponsored by the station’s Community Advisory Board.
Come mingle with well-known WORT personalities, find out about the digital future of the station, and tell us what you think about your favorite community radio station.
Bill Malone, host of the popular program, Back to the Country, and his wife Bobbie will play their favorite country music.

my understanding is that the Dane County Board does not have the authority to issue a ban that would affect a municipality...they have some authority over non-incorporated areas, but a county cannot implement a county-wide ban that would cover cities.
