WORT Radio in Monona - Saturday April 12


WORT 89.9FM Community Radio Station: Madison, Wisconsin will be in Monona for two events this Saturday, April 12.

Stop by the Monona Public Library bn Saturday April 12 between 1 pm and 3 pm for a WORT Radio meet-and-greet, including Country Music Scholar Bill Malone.

And Saturday evening Monona's own Village Lanes (208 Owen Road) will host WORT's 13th annual Bowl-A-Thon from 7 Pm to 1 AM..

On Saturday, April 12 from 1-3pm, at the Monona Public Library, WORT will host a free Meet and Greet, sponsored by the station’s Community Advisory Board.

Come mingle with well-known WORT personalities, find out about the digital future of the station, and tell us what you think about your favorite community radio station.

Bill Malone, host of the popular program, Back to the Country, and his wife Bobbie will play their favorite country music.

  1. my understanding is that the Dane County Board does not have the authority to issue a ban that would affect a municipality...they have some authority over non-incorporated areas, but a county cannot implement a county-wide ban that would cover cities.
