Entering last Wednesday's game against the Houston Astros, the Brewers' backup catcher Damian Miller, a 37-year-old native of La Crosse, had 6 RBI's and no home runs in 77 at bats. Then Miller struck with a walk-off homer on La Crosse Day at Miller Park. But, the life a big league backup catcher involves a lot of sitting. And so he sat until Monday night in Pittsburgh when Miller cracked two homers including a 7th inning grand slam that blew the game open.
Two games, 3 homers, 7 RBI's. His reward? This afternoon he was back on the pine in Pittsburgh.
