Some fixes are coming for Winnequah Road. As you may have surmised, the dips in the roadway at the Owen Road and Frost Woods Road intersections were not in the engineering design plan. The tentative plan is to mill off the asphalt at those intersections and lay new asphalt to provide a level roadway surface. The Frost Woods intersection will also require replacement of a couple curb sections and a couple colored pavement segments.
Additionally, the striping for the bike plane will be altered on the approaches to the intersection to make it clearer that the bike lane continues on the colored pavement at the chokers. (Bikers are of course legally entitled to use the roadway proper if they so choose.).
No word yet on when the work will be done or how long it will take.
