Monona Parks Annual Spring Clean Up

I copied the text below from a flyer being distributed by a Monona parks volunteer group. Saturday May 12th & May 19th anytime from 9 am to 7 pm. Rain dates are Sunday May 13th and May 20th

Let’s Get Ready For Summer!
Take a couple hours to help us prepare our
parks for the season. Sign up with your
kids and keep Monona beautiful!

To sign up for the spring clean up volunteer coordinator:
Jessica Ace at 249-7536 or jessicaace@hotmail.com or the
Park & Recreation Office at 222-4167

Contact us by May 7th to get your park assignments. Pick the park you want, first come first serve.

Join us Saturday May 12th & May 19th
Anytime from 9 am to 7 pm.
* Rain dates are Sunday May 13th and May 20th

Clean up includes:
• Haul Sand from Fireman’s Park to Other Park Locations
• Clean Sandbox and Remove Weeds
• Shovel & Fill Sandboxes
• Pick Up Sticks and Litter
• Raking Leaves
• Sweep Basketball Courts

Contact us by May 7th to get your park assignments.

    Yet--we are to haul sand?
    Has the city lost it trucks?
