Yeehaw - Scott Gunderson escapes criminal charges!

State Rep. Scott Gunderson, hopefully soon-to-be-former-State-Rep., dodged criminal voter fraud charges in Racine County yeterday.

It seems good ol' Gundy has his real residence three miles outside of his Assembly district - you know, the one where his wife and daughter live full-time - and a sham residence in the district in a flat in Waterford that he 'shares' with his 20-year old son.

Back in 2002 when the redrawn district lines left his family home and farm outside his 63rd Assembly district Gunderson told the Milwaukee JS that he planned to sell the farm and move to the city. But he changed his plans and never sold the farm and family home.

A complaint filed with Racine County DA alleged voter fraud for voting in Waterford, but the DA decided that the voters should decide whether Gunderson's sham living arrangement merits his dismissal. Sounds like a case for Deputy Marge Gunderson.
