State Assembly Candidate Forum in Monona July 6 - Probably

UPDATE: Apparently this forum has been on again/ off again. Information has not been equally shared with all the candidates. Mayor Miller had nothing to do with organizing the event, but simply agreed to moderate - and then he found himself in a crossfire. At one point 5 of the candidates did not plan to attend, but now it appears most or all will be there despite conflicting schedules.

A previous forum was organized by the Selkowe campaign or its adherents and questions were provided in advance to some but not all of the candidates. Thus, the other candidates were leery of another event whose sponsorship is unclear.

Mayor Miller will not only moderate, but is formulating the questions.

The silly season is in full swing!

In just over a week we'll have the opportunity to elect a new State Representative now that Joe Parisi is our County Executive.  While the district covers the entirety of Monona, all of the candidate forums so far have been in Madison.

Not anymore!  This Wednesday, July 6th from 7-9PM at the Monona Community Center, Monona Mayor Bob Miller will moderate the only candidate forum focused on issues facing us here in Monona.  This is a great chance to hear where the candidates stand on important issues and there will be an opportunity to talk with candidates individually after the 90 minute forum.

State Assembly Candidates Forum
Wednesday, July 6th 7-9PM
Monona Community Center
1011 Nichols Rd, Monona
Mayor Bob Miller, Moderator
