Child Enticement

The Monona Police Department is asking for assistance in the investigation of a possible Child Enticement that occurred at approximately 5:30 pm on Monday, March 14, 2011, in the area of Gateway Green and Woody Lane in the City of Monona.

The suspect asked two young children if they wanted some candy. As the children approached the vehicle a parent saw the suspicious activity and also approached the vehicle. Upon observing the parent approach, the subject fled from the area in his vehicle towards Frost Woods Road.

The subject is described as a white male, 40-50 years old, short gray hair and possibly having facial hair. The subject was wearing a green baseball cap and driving a newer Silver colored Ford van with a partial Wisconsin plate of 601.
