In what may be Robb Kahl's last city council meeting as mayor of Monona, the council gathers in the Media Room of the Library tomorrow evening at 7:30 P.M. The council sometimes skips the first meeting in April if there is an election the following day. (And there is also a small matter of the NCAA cha,championship game.)
G. Council Action Items.
1. Unfinished Business (Approval Requested Unless Otherwise Noted).
a. Consideration of Resolution 11-03-1761 Consideration of Recommendations of Ad-Hoc Pedestrian/Bicycle Safety Committee for South Winnequah Road (Ad-Hoc Pedestrian/Bicycle Safety Committee).
b. Consideration of Resolution 11-03-1762 Approval of Contract with Bray Architects for Space Utilization and Facilities Study (City Administrator).
2. New Business.
a. Convene in Closed Session under Wisconsin Statute section 19.85(1)(c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility (Compensating Non-Represented Employees for 2011 Wisconsin Retirement System Contributions).
I'm not entirely sure why this needs to be discussed in closed session. Strikes me as a policy issue related to personnel matters, but nothing that warrants a closed discussion (unless there are plans to treat some non-reps differently from other non-reps.).
b. Reconvene in Open Session Under Wisconsin Statute Section 19.85(2).
* c. Consideration of Resolution 11-03-1759 Approval of Contract for HVAC Upgrades to City Buildings (Public Works Committee).
* d. Consideration of Resolution 11-03-1760 Approval of Contract for Window Replacement at City Hall (Public Works Committee). Fiscal Note.
e. Consideration of Resolution 11-03-1764 Compensating Non-Represented Employees for 2011 Wisconsin Retirement System Contributions (Mayor Kahl).
f. Consideration of Resolution 11-03-1766 Award of Contract for 2011 Street and Utility Improvements (Public Works Committee).
* Request for immediate action.

We've got woodies for Dougie!
ReplyDeleteDoes the Log Cabin Guild involve Lincoln Logs??? No, I suppose not; you're those gay Republicans, right?
ReplyDeleteIf I were gay, then this would likely be excellent news. Not being gay, I suppose it is still a good thing to have Log Cabin support, maybe. Except we like disagree on pretty much all but one issue.
On one other thing we can agree: the pharse "woodies for dougie" is just plain old funny.
