Karen Wendt, the best children's librarian in the history of libraries or at least in Dane County passed along some information about upcoming children's events at the Monona Public Library. Check out the Kids & Families on the library web site.

This year the library has online registration (Sign up now!) for the summer reading program.

They have also set up a storytime on our website at http://www.mononalibrary.org/youth/storytimelive.html with help from the Winnequah 5th graders and Jill Jensen, music instructor.

HERE'S WHAT TO DO
Step 1: Look over the bulletin board. These are books that the Library is in need of. Choose the books you would like to donate to the Library and take the booktags to the circulation desk.

Step 2: Fill in your contact information and the name of the person you want to have added to the Nameplate (please print). Pay for the book(s).

Step 3: Your order will be processed as quickly as we can. We will place a hold for you on your book when it has been ordered!
It's that easy!

Dr. Seuss Returns! 

Dr. Seuss & Friends Storytimes for families, particularly ages 2 to 6. Infants welcome.

Celebrate a week of Dr. Seuss. Some elements of the storytime may be repeated, however, there is a good chance you will hear a variety of books if you come to more than one Dr. Seuss storytime this week. We'll be reading Dr. Seuss books and other fun Beginning Reader books, including some picture books that are great for beginning readers.
