Used Book Sale at Monona Public Library SATURDAY

Stop by the Monona Library SATURDAY and Sunday for the used book sale and new baked goods sale.

Read up on the Arminian heresy, buy books, eat cake.

Sign up for Friends of the Monona Public Library and get in at 9 am.
  • Friends of the Library Used Book & Bake Sale, October 17 & 18

Mark your calendars for this year's Friends' Book & Bake sales, to take place on the Library's lower level on Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18. As is traditional, a "Friends Only" sale is scheduled from 9 to 10 AM on Saturday, where only members of the Friends will be allowed into the sale. The sale will be open to the general public from 10 AM until 4 PM.

On Sunday, October 18, join us for a bag sale of all remaining books. Fill up a grocery bag of books for just $5. The Friends will hold a Bake Sale along with the used book sale.

  • Get Booked for Life:

“I am so appreciative of being able to check-out recently published books. If these books were not available through the Monona Library, I would be spending $25 each for recent releases. That is why I’m contributing to Monona’s “Booked for Life” endowment campaign; I’m contributing what I saved and I am ensuring the future availability of Library funds to buy the books I’ll want to read.”

Thirsty for power?

Indulge your inner megalomaniac by seizing control of the library for a day - just $60 for individuals and $100 for businesses.

OK, they call it the Booked for a Day Endowment Program - they will change the name of the library to whatever you want and you get to take home as many books as you want and anything else laying around loose - I think - I may have the details a bit mixed up so check it out for yourself.
