Next Tuesday, October 13: Up Close and Toxic
Most people would say they feel safest in their own homes. But toxicologists have found that levels of most indoor air pollutants exceed those found outdoors. This film makes the sources of pollutants easy to understand, and offers tips for safer practices, materials, and cleaning agents. Bring your favorite personal care/home products – or ones that you’d like to find alternates for – and we’ll “show and tell” and share ideas after the film.
Green Tuesdays are from 6:30 to 8:00, with engaging and fun conversations often pushing the conclusion a bit past that hour. The series is free and open to the public. Sessions are on the second and fifth Tuesdays of the month, from September through May. The Monona Public Library is at 1000 Nichols Road.
Whole Foods serves treats, so come early for delightful food and drink.
