Chickens on the Frontburner Again

At its meeting on Monday, July 2o, the Monona city council will take up the Consideration of Ordinance 02-09-591 Amending the Code of Ordinances to Allow the Keeping of Chickens in Single-Family and Two-Family Residence Districts. Yeah, finally, a decision.


The council will also take up the installation of stop signs on Midmoor Road at Greenway Road (to create a 4-way stop), a proposal to squeeze the sidewalk along the west side of Monona Drive and to choose a reconfiguration of the Cottage Grove Road/Monona Drive Intersection.
