Fancy? Single-color on a half sheet of card stock ain't fancy.
But, nope, it's a free country with a secret ballot. You can vote for one, two, or three candidates.
My general rule is vote only for the candidate that you really want to win. In our at-large system, if you really want one or two candidates to win, but vote for all three, you dilute your vote for the ones you really want to win.
The general thrust of the mailer is to get the people who only in the fall elections to realize that the local elections matter. If we got the 80% turnout in the spring that we sometimes get in the fall (instead of the likely 40-ish% that we usually get in the spring), our local government would be different.
There's about 3000 (three thousand) voters in Monona who vote in the fall and not in the spring.
No Roosters?
