Say-how is Belle Isle Doing?

Well, the lake is slightly above the historic highs (set in June 2000) so there is a lot of water down there. City PW was down there hauling sand over the weekend and volunteers were working to fill bags.
ReplyDeleteThe ad hoc flood mitigation committee is meeting tomorrow night (June 17) at 6:30 p.m. in the Library Media Room.
Unfortunately alder Wiswell scheduled this meeting without asking me (as co-chair) if I could attend and I have my monthly Library Board meeting at 7 pm, so will miss most the flood meeting.
