OK, Monona still has a limited transit system, but I bet it's better than you thought. But boy, could we use some marketing. The Monona Transit Commission discussed improved marketing and in particular an improved web presence.

Nominate a new name. I like "Monona Rides".
Monona Rides...I like it! And then you could have commercials on Channel 12 using the BTO oldie "Let it ride" Instead of "ride, ride, ride, let it ride" the jingle could be to that tune, but "ride, ride, ride, Monona Rides..." Get it? I think you could sing it Doug! Or maybe the whole city council could sing it? Of course there may be some disagreement over who sings lead...
ReplyDeleteYou haven't heard me sing...and with good reason. Bob seems like he can probably sing.
ReplyDeleteI like Monona Rides too-
ReplyDeleteAnd I bet Chad can sing- have you heard him on the radio? I did see him sandbagging last Sunday- much appreciated!
Could you explain the difference between Monona Express and Monona LIft? You don't mention express in your post, but the city website differentiates? What is up with that?
