Upset in Austin

The Badgers won a huge game down in Austin, Texas today edging the 9th ranked Longhorns when Michael Flowers (Flowers, Michael) hit a three-pointer and then stole the inbounds pass to seal the deal. Not bad for an east sider from Laugh-a-lot High (that's what the MG kids call La Follette).

The win was especially huge because the Badgers' point guard and leading scorer Trevon Hughes was out with an ankle sprain that occurred in Friday's practice. It also gives them a signature win in the non-conference part of the schedule. Their win over Valparaiso, believe it or not was the best win previously (Valpo is number 39 in the Sagarin Ratings).
