Say Good-Bye to Garden Circle

The demolition of the Garden Circle apartments is well under way this afternoon. Actually, the work has been ongoing for a couple weeks as the city wanted the contractor to recycle building materials. The buildings need to be down by the end of year for TIF valuation purposes.

    Will the city be taking any actions to finally bid a farewell to Hickory Lane MHP? Or will it be allowed to become a crime ridden boil on the arse of Monona.

    The city has known for far too long, 2 years to be exact, that the park was closing.

    It is now alright to call is blighted.

    Will the city ever take a stance, of this private property, and put it out of it's misery?
