Google has a service called Google Analytics that let's people with blogs or web sites learn things about where in the world their traffic originates. Now this service is no doubt beneficial to people trying to make money from their blog, but for me it's just interesting.
The service tells you where on the Web your hits originate; for example, I get some referrals from the Isthmus Daily Page , Dane 101 and even CNN. The bit that fascinates me though is Map Overlay that shows, literally where in the world the visitors come from. The more unexpected, the more intriguing.
So, Monona, say Hello to Norrköping, which according to Wikipedia is a city in Östergötland in mid-east Sweden. I have had exactly one visitor from Norkopping so far - if you're reading this and you're from Norkopping, well, that makes two visits.
Two locales that have me a little concerned are the hits from Tehran and Santiago. I think I may have said some mean things about Pinochet and the, Iranians, well, it's that whole hostage thing
that I still remember.

Monona Doug, you are coming in loud and clear in Kilcrohane, Ireland. Over. Now I must go get a pint. Over.
