Scott Jensen - Sweet Irony

You may have heard that Dane County Judge Steve Ebert ordered Scott Jensen to repay some big bucks to the state for their felony convictions. Jensen now works for the Alliance for School Choice at a reported salary of $100,000. Here is the bio from their web site. What did they leave out? Can it be they don't know about his criminal record?

"Scott Jensen, National Director of State Projects

As a national director of state projects, Scott Jensen works to build public support for school choice in several states.

Formerly the speaker of the Wisconsin State Assembly and chief of staff to Gov. Tommy Thompson, Jensen played a crucial role in the creation, expansion and defense of Milwaukee's pioneering school choice program.

Jensen received his bachelor's degree in political science and economics from Drake University in 1982 and his master's in public policy at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in 1984."

They also don't mention the sweet irony that the contributors to 'school choice' will now be contributing to Jensen's restitution to the state of Wisconsin.
